Search Britannica Online for reference information in literature, science, social science, and history.  Britannica Online also carries news stories from The New York Times.~ Reference articles. Many maps, images, articles, etc. on China.

Search for articles from the Daily Herald, Sun-Times, Tribune and Tribune RedEye.~ Chicago-area newspapers

  • Example search: click Advanced Search > Enter China and Tourism in separate search boxes > Change All Text to In Lead/First Paragraph for both search boxes > Click Search.

Search Clipart.com for clipart, photos, fonts and more.  User name: smaine Password: south ~ Clipart, photos, fonts, and more.

Search the Student Research Center for magazines, newspapers, reference articles, and primary documents. Search NoveList for reviews, annotations and much more for over 125,000 fiction titles.~ Magazines and newspapers

  • Example search: enter China and Description and Travel in two separate search boxes > Click search.

Use eLibrary to search for magazine and newspaper articles along with a variety of media including maps, images, audio/video, and television/radio transcripts.~ Reference articles, magazines, newspapers, images, and TV/radio transcripts

Newsbank carries articles from U.S. and international sources covering politics, science, social science, and arts/culture.~ Newspaper articles from U.S. and international sources
