The Library Resource Center or "LRC" at Maine South High School serves the information needs of nearly 3000 administrators, faculty, staff, and students each day. Students are encouraged to visit the library to study, read, conduct online research and pursue academic activities in a quiet environment. Teachers are encouraged to meet with a professional librarian to collaborate in the research and information process students undertake in their classes; we are happy to assist teachers in creating or developing research projects as well locating excellent resources. We also have a great collection of nonfiction and fiction books available for checkout.
