MLA Style – Citing Electronic Resources
FORMAT
- Do not number items.
- Alphabetize the list by the authors’ last
names. If the author’s name is not given, alphabetize by the title.
- Start at the left margin. After the first line,
evenly indent the rest of the citation; see directions for hanging
indent.
- When you start a new entry, go back to the left
margin for the first line.
- Double space.
HANGING INDENT

Format. 2. Click Paragraph. 3. Under “Special,” change the
indentation to Hanging.
4. Under “Line Spacing,” change the
spacing to Double.
