comprehensive learning facilities which have been recognized by the U.S.
Department of Education in the National Secondary School Recognition Program.
More than 7,000 culturally diverse students - grades nine through twelve - are offered an educational program of various ability levels; advanced placement, accelerated, regular, transitional and remedial. Beyond the classroom, there are outstanding athletic and fine arts programs, and more than one hundred clubs and activities providing ample opportunities for personal growth and development.

These comprehensive learning facilities feature state-of-the-art computer writing centers, a district wide computerized library system linked to municipal libraries, university libraries, and research facilities. Well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, shops, radio stations, television studios, and general purpose areas such as gyms, auditoriums, fieldhouses, and cafeterias mean that our students receive their education in an environment that promotes a range of learning opportunities.
